We are so excited to welcome you all to the start of Key Stage One. This is the next step on your learning journey at King Edwin Primary where you are going to experience and learn lots of new, fun and exciting things.

Homework:
Reading:
Please spend between 5 and 10 minutes reading with an adult each day.
Two reading books go home each week. One is a home reader closely matched to your child's phonic ability and the other is a library book chosen by your child. The library book is for sharing with a grown up. Please bring your reading book to school every day. Library books are changed on a Friday.
Numbots:
Please practice your Maths skills on Numbots daily, for at least 5 minutes.
Spellings:
Spellings are given out at the beginning of each half term. Spellings are tested on a Friday. Please try and spend at least 5 minutes learning your spellings, three times per week.
Homework project:
Each term you will be set a creative homework project. Please see the documents below for details.
Our PE days are:
Tuesday and Thursday
Please come to school wearing your PE kit.
Please remember that no jewellery should not be worn on any day.
