We are a friendly, happy school nestled in the heart of Amble, the 'friendliest port in England'.
In September 2024, we started our transition to become a primary school and by September 2025, we will have children from two years old to eleven years old (Year 6). Most of our pupils move on to James Calvert Spence College for their secondary education.
Together with our pupils, parents, governors and staff we are a community of learners that grow together with the children at the centre. Our curriculum is personalised to meet the needs and interests of our pupils and to enable our learners to face the challenges of an ever-changing world. Our ethos was designed with the help of our families and continues to grow with the help of our School Council and Puffin Patrollers.
We are proud to be a part of the community of Amble and take make regular visits to the beach to enjoy our beautiful coastline and to develop our outdoor learning.
We work closely with our local schools to promote a wide range of sporting activities and competitions and we enjoy the opportunity to take part in local events such as the annual Puffin Festival.
Please come and see this for yourself! We welcome visits and enjoy showing off our wonderful school.
